Emma Dunlop is a singer/songwriter from North Lanarkshire, Scotland. Her influences and inspirations include artists like Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Caroline Polachek, and Christine & The Queens, all of whom are great storytellers.
Having started her career as an acoustic artist almost 2 decades ago as a teenager, eventually supporting Midge Ure and Richie Havens on tour, Emma has released her new brand album Eleven Eleven during lockdown in 2020. This self-composed, performed produced album (created entirely on an iPhone 7) is Emma’s venture into her more electronic sound. Expect songs about love, loss and discovery. Emma has also released a number of singles since then, all available via major streaming platforms.
Emma is delighted to be part of Caledonia Fest 2021. Her performance features the songs What Do You Say? and Flags from her album, stripped back to their bare bones, the latter of which is currently a semi-finalist in the UK and International Songwriting Contest.
